Winemaker Ntsiki Biyela pours wine from oak vat.

We are absolutley delighted to welcome Ntsiki Biyela to the shop on the 5th March. Ntsiki is a truly inspiring winemaker, both for the quality of the wines she makes and the barriers she has torn down to make them.

Ntsiki was awarded a scholarship to study winemaking at Stellenbosch University in 1999, 1400km away from her rural home village of Mahlabathini in South Africa.

After graduating she went on to accrue over a decade of experience and insight into winemaking around the world before establishing Aslina Wines in 2016.

Today Aslina is renowned for its range of premium wines and is the realisation of Ntsiki’s dream to create an exceptional world-class brand, drawing from the strength and determination of the biggest influence in her life (and the brand’s namesake) her grandmother.

For your chance to sample the range, simply book a table any time from 7pm on the 5th March, order the Aslina wine flight, then sit back and enjoy having those wines described to you by none other the award-winning winemaker herself.

And, if you needed any more persuasion (really?) then there will also be free nibbles for those who participate in the tasting.

The wine flight includes samples of five different Aslina wines and costs £20.

Book your table here.
