Description
Varietals: Grillo 100%
When the traditional Marsala started to decline in popularity the Rallo family turned to quality table wines made from indigenous varietals. This steel ferment has a lovely ripe palate of peach, lemon peel, cut grass and wildflowers in the classically Italian fresh and food-friendly style. The eponymous ‘fleeing women’ may have been Queen Maria Carolina, who escaped Naples when Napoleon’s troops arrived and took refuge in the Santa Margherita Belice palace.
