Today Gilles’ daughter Mylène runs this estate in the southernmost region of Burgundy; her Macon-Fuissé is fermented in steel with 8 months ageing on the lees, making it the fresher and fruitier of the two wines. Expect lemon, apricot and white blossom on the nose, crisp acidity with a rich texture on the palate and a buttery finish from full MLF.
