The Greeks taught the Romans how to make wine. The Romans exported the love of wine throughout the Roman Empire. And each region in the Mediterranean basin has embraced wine in their culture and adapted the techniques to suit their palates and, more importantly, to match the delicious foods that make up their local cuisine. Together, we’ll taste 6 beautiful wines from around the Med (from Portugal to the Levant (think Lebanon and Israel) via the Mediterranean Islands and Greece). You’ll be astounded at the quality and diversity that is on offer.
